@marisaheckner noted that it is inconvenient to scroll all the way up to the side bar again to switch sections, and I agree. Will PR a fix in a minute.

We got more useful feedback from @marisaheckner: The fixed sidebar is an improvement, but it would be best to have a link at the bottom of the page. Will PR this in a minute.

Yes, I kept that - it does not only link previous and following sections, but also the search bar and the reference to the landing page as well as the table of contents within the current section (relevant once there are subsections on a single page). Having that fixed on the left adds some more comfort should these shortcuts are relevant, and it means that jumping to the next or previous section is also easy from the middle of page.
