_davMEDIA v26.10.2
🇺🇸 Updated _davMEDIA to v26.10.2 while retaining the new _davstudios release standard and YY.M.REVISIONE versioning scheme. Synchronized the version across package.json, package-lock.json, Cargo.toml, Cargo.lock, Tauri configuration, documentation and tests. Fixed the Cargo.lock synchronization check which, on Windows checkouts using CRLF line endings, could fail to detect the application's version and return undefined, stopping the pipeline during npm test before the build stage. The parser now correctly supports both LF and CRLF line endings, and a dedicated regression test has been added to reproduce Windows checkout behavior. Release verification has also been extended across package.json, package-lock.json, Tauri configuration, Cargo.toml, Cargo.lock and the Git tag, with project-root resolution independent from the directory the verifier is launched from. The GitHub Actions workflow and multiplatform build and launcher scripts have also been strengthened with preventive path validation, an explicit Tauri projectPath, deterministic line-ending rules and more robust Windows, macOS and Linux scripts. Repository normalization was performed across all project text files, allowing files and folders still associated on GitHub with previous v1.x.x commits to be realigned with the current release commit without introducing functional changes. PNG, ICO and ICNS assets and the FFmpeg/FFprobe binaries were preserved byte-for-byte, with their directories documented through dedicated release metadata. Preserved the official metadata with _davstudios as publisher, davstudios.it homepage, © 2026 _davstudios copyright, MIT license, Video category, package descriptions and Debian metadata for Linux. Preserved the existing studio.dav.media identifier to maintain application identity continuity. The bilingual 🇮🇹/🇺🇸 Description workflow, Linux hardening and Windows SmartScreen, macOS Gatekeeper and Linux AppImage instructions also remain unchanged. Fully preserved the FFmpeg/FFprobe engine, audio and video stream detection, attached_pic cover exclusion, conversion, audio extraction, compression, resizing, batch processing, progress handling, diagnostics, Rust backend and interface. No functional changes were made to the application's behavior.
