First separate CodeIgniter 4 adapter release for Daycry Twig.

composer require daycry/twig-codeigniter4:^4.0
php spark twig:publish

Requires PHP 8.2+, CodeIgniter 4.7+ and daycry/twig ^4.0, which Composer installs as a dependency.

  • Services, configuration, rendering helpers, Spark commands, compiled-cache adapter and debug toolbar integration.
  • Framework classes use Daycry\Twig\CodeIgniter4. Migrate imports and application configuration when upgrading from the 3.x integration.
  • Generation-based remote cache clearing, bounded compiled entry retention, and backend-aware diagnostic reset.
  • Production rendering skips debug toolbar lookups.

The adapter is developed in daycry/twig and exported to this distribution repository with git subtree split.

Validated with isolated Composer consumers on PHP 8.2, 8.3, 8.4 and 8.5, including service/helper/Spark discovery and diagnostic reset.
