[8.6.0] - 2026-09-15

Deprecate /flow-reviewer; /flow-models is the one model picker.

  • /flow-reviewer still opens the review picker and now says it is deprecated in
the command palette. It is removed no earlier than 9.0.0. /flow-models reaches
the same picker and also selects the optional planning specialist.
  • Quickstart leads with /flow-models and states the real precedence order:
picker preferences, then plugin tuple settings, then environment fallbacks. It
previously documented only the tuple route and contradicted the README.
  • Troubleshooting no longer pins its own plugin version, which had been stale at
8.1.3 for four releases. It refers to the README, whose pins are asserted.
  • Session v5 schema, validation gates, reviewer authority, and continuation
routing are unchanged. No live model eval or paid canary was run for this
    candidate.

Upgrade with opencode plugin opencode-plugin-flow@8.6.0 --global --force.

Reviewed offline feature qualification

No live model evals or canary were run for 8.6.0. Reviewed code, deterministic checks, replay and provider-free OpenCode UI/configuration checks support this feature release; they do not establish its live model behavior.
Prior measured artifact (8.3.0): sha256:f2cad40877d616a25df9f675ddbd4aeb0e0a6a342ef246e5d109a3978c891563.

Prior results only: 76/76. These are not measurements of 8.6.0, and no release after 8.3.0 has been measured live.
Scope approval: Operator approval in this Claude Code session, 2026-09-15. Explicitly authorized offline qualification for the 8.6.0 deprecation notice, after being shown that a funded live campaign and holding the release were the alternatives. The runtime is byte-identical to the reviewed 8.5.0 picker sources apart from one palette title; the rest of the diff is documentation. The last live-measured release remains 8.3.0; 8.4.0 and 8.5.0 were also qualified offline and are not treated as baselines. No new live model eval or canary was authorized or run.
