Russian (ru) language pack — 594 namespaces, 69 177 strings, 522 plugin dictionaries

@ragnoryok1/dsh-client-locale-ru — Russian (ru) interface for the web GUI.

What it covers:

• 584 namespaces, 67 724 strings, 47 700 distinct Russian strings in the built bundle;
• 522 third-party plugin dictionaries. Each plugin's English text is vendored from its own published
  bundle together with the package version and licence (plugins/<namespace>.json), and the audit holds
  the translation to that snapshot — never to somebody else's Russian;
• Russian plural forms (.few / .many) for the harness keys that have plural pairs;
• typography enforced by the audit: «ёлочки», em dashes with spaces, «…», no NBSP, no Latin prose.

Install:

It is a hybrid dsh.bundle + dsh.client plugin, so it works both as a bundle row and as a client plugin.

Update after dsh-v0.2.2-alpha.2 (28 Oct): 594 namespaces, 69 177 strings.

The new release is up on npm as 0.2.22. What changed since this post:

Nine namespaces the release added are covered — 745 strings in total: liveshare (224), forgePanel (199), stats (177), creationRecommendations (55), cuaPermissions (49), pluginRecommendations (25), actionCards (14), fileDrag and messageQuotes (1 each). Plus 108 keys added to namespaces that already had translations — 69 of them in pluginManager alone (versionsTitle, updateStepInstalling, updateBrokenDetail and friends).

A runtime bump can break the installation before any string is shown. 0.2.2-alpha.2 requires @deepseek-ai/cordis@~4.0.6-alpha.1; a locale package pinned to the previous range fails with ERESOLVE. The peer range here is now ^4.0.2 || >=4.0.5-0 <4.0.6-0 || >=4.0.6-0 <4.0.7-0, and npm run check:compat verifies all 14 declared versions still pass.

A false-positive trap worth knowing if anyone else builds a translation gate. The check «value equals the English template» used to collect templates by key across every file in the tree. 0.2.2 ships Russian dictionaries for the desktop app and the installer — so 2 368 Russian values «matched an English template», and three real untranslated strings hid behind them. Templates containing Cyrillic are now excluded from comparison; the residue is 3, and each has a written decision.

Two people caught things I missed, both fixes are in the package: @knopki (duplicate locale registrations, and turnProcess.took being a plain prefix) and @bondarevpm-tech (detailed and verbose were both labelled «Подробный»).

For anyone adding another language, the process and the traps are written down in docs/how-to-translate-dsh.md — extracting the English dictionaries, the placeholder and plural-form rules, the checks that caught real defects, and how the namespace names lie (two of ours turned out to be file names: .runs.json, .ndjson.zst).
