0.2.1-alpha.2 removed two public exports that third-party plugins depend on (settleRun, SettingsProvider.installSection) — no changelog, fatal at ESM link time
#10864
I maintain a third-party bundle (dsh-subagent-vision, published on npm, MIT) and hit three
breaking changes between 0.1.5 and 0.2.1-rc.2 that I could not find documented anywhere.

1. settleRun was removed from @deepseek-ai/dsh-subagent
dsh-subagent version
settleRun
0.1.5-rc.3 … 0.2.1-alpha.1
exported
0.2.1-alpha.2 … 0.2.1-rc.2
gone (only settleRunResult(parts) remains)
The two are not interchangeable: settleRun(run) settled a Job (awaits run.result, calls run.dispose(), maps to JobOutcome), while settleRunResult(parts) settles an out-of-process attempt (takes attempt/collectOutput/cancelled/sinks). A plugin written
against the former has no drop-in replacement.
Because this is a named ESM import, it fails at link time, before any plugin code runs, so it
cannot be caught with try/catch:
