Warm the compile server up while the first cell is typed (#49)

Enhancements:

  • A session compiles a throwaway cell in the background as it starts, so
    the first real cell takes about 0.07s rather than a second

Technical:

  • Each exchange with the compile server now holds one lock; a
    completeness check that finds it busy uses the fallback rather than
    waiting
