Release list
v9.5.2
Treat ghul-runtime as the one source library (#168)
Technical:
- Remove the core library as a library of its own: ghul-runtime, which
carries the core sources, is the only implicit library - A ghul-core declaration is ignored, with a warning on the project's
own manifest saying to remove it - The wasm loader comes only from the runtime library's core tree; the
fallbacks for a separate core checkout are gone - The READMEs, AGENTS.md and tests describe and use one library

v9.5.1
Compile one source library: the runtime carries the core (#167)
Technical:
- the runtime repository root manifest now covers both trees, so the
single library a version or tag dependency resolves carries the whole
compilation unit - ghul-core is no longer compiled as a library of its own: a manifest
that still declares it is parsed and ignored - the undeclared-library error, ghul new and bare scripts name only
ghul-runtime - the wasm loader is looked for where the core sources sit: in the
runtime repository, beside the runtime tree, or in a core-only checkout

v9.5.0
Read the runtime library's sources from its manifest (#166)
Technical:
- a wasm build compiled the files the runtime library wasm-sources.rsp
listed, a per-target list no other library needed - the library now carries a ghul-project.json like any other, and its
sources resolve the way the core library do - the runtime repository has moved its tree under ghul-runtime/, so a
--library override points at that subdirectory

v9.4.3
Link to ghul-lang, not the degory redirect (#164)
Technical:
- Repository links, badges and issue references name ghul-lang, where
the repositories now live, rather than degory, which only redirects

v9.4.2
Build against ghul.runtime 29.1.1 and ghul.compiler 66.12.5 (#163)
Technical:
- Bumps the runtime and compiler pins; ghul.repl is built against the
current runtime

v9.4.1
Concurrent compiler installs settle on one newest version (#162)
Bugs fixed:
- Concurrent compiler installs could leave two versions in the store
when the feed answered them differently
Technical:
- The lock holder records its resolved newest version in .newest for 30
seconds; concurrent installers adopt it - The installed line names the version actually held

v9.4.0
One voice, facts, and honest progress in ghul's output (#161)
Enhancements:
- Install and update lines say what was done in one line, such as
ghul-llvm 1.4.0 installed - Downloads show a braille spinner, then a bar with percent and sizes
once the size is known; nothing is drawn when standard error is not a
terminal - ghul update says ghul is up to date when it is, and the REPL says
plainly when it is not supported
Technical:
- LOG gains begin, update, finish and discard for a live line; every
download reads through TRANSFER, which reports bytes against
Content-Length

v9.3.0
ghul add (#160)
Enhancements:
- ghul add depends on the newest release of a library,
writing ^newest into the manifest and moving the pin when run again
Technical:
- The Jupyter kernel asks for the managed compiler by name, and the
compiler-choice lint covers jupyter/src

v9.2.2
README: the REPL runs natively without .NET (#159)
Technical:
- The without-.NET section says ghul repl starts the native session on
Linux x64 and arm64, and only the Jupyter kernel still needs .NET

v9.2.1
ghul repl starts the native session where .NET cannot host cells (#158)
Enhancements:
- ghul repl with no target starts the native session where .NET cannot
host cells and ghul-llvm is released for the platform
Bugs fixed:
- The native REPL takes its compiler from the compiler plan, so a
machine with no .NET runs the wasm-built compiler under Node and fetches
no Native AOT one - The REPL message for a machine with no .NET points at ghul repl
--target llvm
Technical:
- A unit test fails if a command in cli/src picks a compiler store other
than through COMPILER_PLAN
