Snapper 0.1
The first release.
- Ten styles on two sides: LOUD (SLOWBURN, BIGROOM, BRASSHIT, STADIUM, MACHINE) and NIGHT (NIGHTDRIVE, LATENIGHT,
UNDERTOW, TOMTOM, RHYTHMBOX); a song for every ALGORITHM number; style and song change on the bar line. - A song's form built on tension: HUSH, RISE, BREAK-IN, FULL, DRAMA, BREAK-IN, FULL a key up, END, and round again
with a new riff. - BUILD, DRAMA, ENERGY and ROOM on the four knobs; BREAK-IN on REC (tapped, held, in the full band, in a drama),
DRAMA on SEQ. - The keys play KEYS, snapped to the scale; their LEDs show the chord.
- A drum kit of Snapper's own (CC0): the snare, the clap and the toms with their gated room in the sample, a drum
machine's kick, rim and hat for the hush; or Felucca's DRUM engine (BOX). - Forty-eight sounds on Felucca's engines, among them Snapper's own DRONE, GLASS and PUNCH on FM6.
- Eight sets; settings saved while stopped; MIDI out on channels 1, 2, 3 and 10.
- The GATE palette, by default.
- In the browser: the same firmware on Felucca's emulator.
Runs on the FM-1. To go back: Felucca's or Tuna's installer, or the official V15.
