AgenticX Joint Release — 2026-09-30

This release ships three tracks together:

  • AgenticX (Python core) v0.6.0 → v0.6.5
  • Near Desktop v0.5.0 → v0.6.0
  • AgenticX Enterprise v0.3.0 → v0.3.5

Installation / Upgrade

pip install -U agenticx==0.6.5
  • Near Desktop: download the Apple silicon disk image or the Windows installer attached to this release.
  • AgenticX Enterprise: follow enterprise/README.md for upgrade steps.

AgenticX v0.6.5 (Python core)

Highlights

  • Core / Runtime

    • Delegated and long-running tasks now persist, so a run can resume and be replayed instead of disappearing when the process stops.
    • Shell commands run from the session workspace, with host-wide execution isolated from the sandbox.
    • Large tool results are archived and can be recalled exactly, instead of being truncated out of the conversation.
    • Knowledge search keeps each matched passage in the model context, and hung document parsing can be cancelled.

  • Studio / Server

    • A conversation can continue from a selected earlier message.

Fixes & Improvements

  • Core / Runtime
    • Reliability defaults to fail-closed, and avatar delegations stay in their own sessions.
    • Task outputs and terminal runs are reconciled so finished work matches what the session recorded.

Near Desktop v0.6.0

Highlights

  • Desktop

    • The workspace shows files the turn wrote, with source preview, slide and video playback, and a changes list.
    • Plan mode and durable plans stay separate from building, and a finished run can be replayed from the chat.
    • Workspace scratch chats stay out of the main history and open as their own tabs.
    • Compiled wiki pages can be browsed and drafted from the sidebar, with a chosen writing model.
    • The interface switches between Chinese and English.
    • The app uses the cube mark, expert portrait sets, and an empty-chat mark of its own.

  • IM

    • Workspace documents can be sent back as chat attachments.
    • Group chat keeps a work board, paces replies, and shows structured routing decisions.

Fixes & Improvements

  • Desktop
    • History no longer stalls on startup, queued messages stay on their own session, and relative writes still show up as artifacts.
    • Usage on each turn shows the model, the last request, and cache hits without wrapping into a second line.

    • A department can default to one visible model, and an assigned skill is injected into the portal session.
    • Deep-research chrome follows the selected interface language.
