Patch release: fixes a TypeError when calling replace_star_imports() with a string, and fixes the JupyterLab comm close handler.

Bug fixes

  • replace_star_imports() accepts a str again: since 1.11.1 a non-PythonBlock argument raised TypeError: warn() got an unexpected keyword argument 'stack_level'. str now passes without warning; other types warn instead of crashing.
  • JupyterLab: comm close handler now works. It had the wrong signature and read the wrong message key, so comms closed by the frontend were never unregistered and kept receiving messages. remove_comms() also clears its registry now.
