These are things that should be known, or common answers to questions that would, or have been asked frequently. 'FAQ' rolls off the tongue better, so that's the title of this page.
We're still ironing out how the relationship between Desurium and the Desura client is going to work, but at this stage we're expecting that the Desura client will essentially be rebranded stable builds of Desurium.

They're in your old Desura install, as Desurium stores them in your home directory by default. So just copy any interesting files across (make sure hidden directories are shown!)
Use an IRC client to connect to the Freenode network, and join the #desura room.
There's no real answer to this at the moment. It's currently being discussed in this issue. A range of opinions and knowledge on the matter, such as how it'd be implemented and if it's really a good idea in the grand scheme of Linux gaming, are in that thread.
Desurium currently lacks some code that was not included in the GPL release. Lodle has informed us that it's just some serial key stuff that's able to be moved server-side.
There are still some hooks for the auto updater, which isn't included.
