BuildStuff ASP.NET 5 Microservices tutorial application

Install from scratch on a LUbuntu VM

Here is a step by step guide to create a LUbuntu VM to run the ASP.NET 5 app in docker

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv-keys 3FA7E0328081BFF6A14DA29AA6A19B38D3D831EF
echo "deb http://download.mono-project.com/repo/debian wheezy main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mono-xamarin.list
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mono-complete
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://p80.pool.sks-keyservers.net:80 --recv-keys 58118E89F3A912897C070ADBF76221572C52609D
echo "deb https://apt.dockerproject.org/repo ubuntu-wily main" > sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/docker.list
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install linux-image-extra-$(uname -r)
sudo apt-get install docker-engine
sudo service docker start

To test if docker works: sudo docker run hello-world

curl -L https://github.com/docker/compose/releases/download/1.5.1/docker-compose-`uname -s`-`uname -m` | sudo tee -a /usr/local/bin/docker-compose
sudo chmod +x /usr/local/bin/docker-compose
curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_5.x | sudo -E bash -
sudo apt-get install -y nodejs

You are done for installation, then you have to clone this repository and just build & run application through docker.
