The first release: two one-tap tools for Control Center, the menu bar and Spotlight.

Lights Out turns off the screen and keyboard light while the Mac keeps running. Touch the trackpad or press any key to bring everything back.

Stay Awake keeps the Mac running, even with the lid closed (pmset -a disablesleep). Sun means it won't sleep, moon means it sleeps normally.

Install

  1. Download Tapdeck.dmg below and drag Tapdeck into Applications.
  2. Open it. This build isn't notarized yet, so the first time click Done, then System Settings › Privacy & Security › Open Anyway.
  3. Control Center › Edit Controls › Tapdeck: drag the tools into Control Center or the menu bar.
  4. The first time you tap Stay Awake, approve Tapdeck under Login Items & Extensions › Allow in the Background.

Requires macOS 26 Tahoe or later. Universal: Apple silicon and Intel.
