Fixed

  • macOS GUI PATH Environment:
    • Automatically resolved Homebrew and user binary search paths (/opt/homebrew/bin, /usr/local/bin, etc.) when Obsidian runs as a macOS GUI application, enabling seamless detection of pi, node, and other local AI CLI tools.
  • Dynamic Model Retrieval & Diagnostics:
    • Replaced silent fallback responses with explicit status reporting; CLI discovery errors or missing tools now surface descriptive notice messages.
    • Resolved model selection resetting by validating existing selections against dynamically discovered models.
  • Pi Coding Agent Provider Support:
    • Maintained provider-scoped model identifiers (<provider>/<model>) to eliminate namespace conflicts when querying or prompting Pi models.
    • Adjusted reasoning effort levels to match Pi CLI's supported thinking modes (Off, Low, Medium, High).
