erdify 1.0.0 is 0.16.0 with a stability promise. There are no functional
changes: the CLI, configuration, Python API and output are identical to 0.16.0,
so upgrading from 0.16.0 needs no changes.

From this release on, erdify follows the
Stability & Versioning policy:

  • Covered by semver: CLI flags, exit codes, [tool.erdify] keys,
    pre-commit hook ids, the Python API (erdify.__all__) and the JSON schema
    (schema_version). Breaking changes to any of these ship only in a major
    release.
  • Diagram output: what the diagram shows is stable. Formatting may change
    in a minor release and is always listed under Output changes.
  • Deprecations: anything deprecated keeps working until the next major
    release.

Upgrading from 0.15.x or earlier? See the breaking Python API changes in
0.16.0 (CLI users are unaffected).

  • The package classifier is now Development Status :: 5 - Production/Stable
    (was 4 - Beta).
