Updating Formulas

A lightning talk presented to the Denver R User Group on 30 March 2016.

The talk aims to

• Give examples of using the update function in R to update an object.
• Show where update fails to be efficient
• Show an example of non-standard evaulation code to update arguments within a function call within a formula.
