i always find oxygen icon theme ugly to some extent.
it would be good if you make meteo-qt follow the system theme & icons.
and fallback to oxygen icon when no icons are found.

You mean to choose the weather status icons of the default icons set ?
Does every iconset has its own weather icons every time ?

I thought to add as an option to choose between the openweathermap and oxygen icons:

breeze icon theme also has weather icons

so most icon themes will have them
if some icon theme doesn't then
use oxygen as fallback
