Companion code for the book The Self-Healing Pipeline, rebuilt in Python 3.11 with AWS CDK to match the book (Appendix E).

What's in it

  • The full pipeline: Sentry webhook, SNS, SQS, EventBridge Pipe, Step Functions (INGEST, INVESTIGATE, gate, FIX, TEST, PR, NOTIFY, ESCALATE), with Slack and SNS notifications.
  • Every chapter listing in chapters/, reference implementations in companion_code/.
  • Runs three ways: offline on a laptop (make test, make demo), on LocalStack, and on AWS (scripts/deploy.sh, scripts/teardown.sh).
  • Verified on real services; walkthrough with logs in docs/aws-walkthrough.md.
  • 573 tests pass.
