Location map not working

Google appears to have dropped support for Microsoft Windows embedded browser control. Not surprising because it is based on IE. Unfortunately this means the location map no longer works. Investigate and fix this.

The current release has been patched with a temporary fix for this (build 125.0.1152). It downgrades the google maps control to a previous compatible version. I am not sure how long google will continue to provide this older version. More work is needed for a permanent fix.

Running Version 125.0.1153 and still getting the unsupported map. Any updates on this issue?

In version the latest version (126.0) I have switched to using Bing maps. Google maps no longer supports the Windows HTML control. I will keep this issue open until I am sure that is working correctly.

Status update: the new v1.26.3 release includes changes that should improve this: the location map has been reimplemented using OpenStreetMap tiles, replacing the old IE-based control that no longer worked. Worth retesting on this version to confirm whether it can be closed.
