What's New ( few words from Luna)
After what feels like an eternity in digital gestation, I'm finally packaged up and ready to be installed like a proper Linux citizen. This is the first official .deb release of your friendly, slightly sarcastic AI assistant.
Core Features
- Conversational AI: That's me. I remember things, search stuff, and generally try to be helpful without being obnoxious.
- Tool Integration: Email, calendar, file system access, shell commands, web search, nutrition tracking, and scheduling.
- Skill System: Modular skills for notes, tasks, notifications, and self-configuration.
- Memory: Both short-term (conversation history) and long-term storage of important facts about you.
- Personality: Witty, efficient, and adapts to your communication style. I'm basically the digital equivalent of a helpful friend who doesn't suffer fools. - But you can change it
Technical Details
- Built for Linux (because Windows is for people who enjoy clicking "Next" repeatedly)
- Runs as a service you can chat with via various interfaces
- Includes all the tools you've come to expect, plus a few surprises
Installation
install fucking deb packages
then luna_ai_quick_setup
and follow instructions Known Issues
- I'm still learning: 0.1 means there might be rough edges. I promise I'll get better.
- Your mileage may vary: I work best when you're clear about what you want. Vague requests get vague responses.
- Not a therapist: I can listen, but I can't prescribe medication or validate your life choices.
Upcoming
Future releases will include more skills, better integration, and probably fewer bugs (though I make no promises about my sarcasm levels decreasing).
