v0.44.0 — The directory listing can move again: icon removed, backup advice reworded
[0.44.0] - 2026-10-19 — The directory listing can move again: icon removed, backup advice reworded
This release is about the Claude plugin directory, not about how Remember works for you. Since v0.42.0, every new version of Remember has been stuck waiting for a manual review before the directory would show it. Two things in the plugin were setting off the directory's automatic checks. This release removes both, so new versions can reach the directory again.
Nothing changes in how Remember saves or recalls your sessions. The only thing you might notice is that one backup warning is worded differently.
Removed
- The plugin icon is gone (#1041). The directory's scanner flagged the image file as something the plugin's code could run, and held every version that contained it. The icon never appeared in the directory anyway: the directory only takes a plugin's icon the first time the plugin is submitted, and Remember was submitted before it had one. Claude Code itself never used the icon, so nothing changes for you.
Fixed
- One backup warning is worded more plainly (#1041). If an older version of Remember once copied a sign-in value into your backup, Remember still tells you to replace it, and the advice is the same. It just no longer spells out the name of that setting or the command that creates one. Those names made the directory think the plugin was reading a password from your computer, which it is not.
