Highlights

QC now looks at the picture and the text, not just the sound.

  • qc.py --render checks the picture: still stretches over 3s, black gaps mid-video, and an empty first frame (#135).
  • qc.py --layout measures every piece of text in a Remotion project: off the canvas or clipped, under the 28px phone floor, or below WCAG AA contrast at the size it is shown, with a colour that would pass. Product UI marked data-qc="product" is reported apart, as info (#136).
  • Motion-craft reference for Remotion scenes: durations, eases by role, springs by damping ratio, read time, a beat grid, and the defaults that make a video look generated. /design and /scene-review read it (#134).
  • Clone prosody tools: voice_prosody.py measures how flat a voice is and writes a livelier clone reference, and pick_takes.py chooses the best of several takes per sentence (#133).
  • ds-release-notes template for Digital Samba release videos with no screen recording. /video offers it, and its release number and month live in src/config.ts (#133, #137). Watch the release 650 video, made with it.

The QC checks and the motion-craft reference are adapted from HyperFrames (HeyGen, Apache-2.0).
