Bot Account invisible

After I accidentally turned my application into an app with rich presence, I was also inable to use the bot account anymore. It doesn't show up in the members list in the server settings, it says that it has no permissions when I try to send a message and it is not reacting to messages.
I already tried to reauthorize the bot, that didn't change anything

Hey @gerd2002. I was not able to replicate this. These are the steps I took. Can you confirm or clarify that these are the steps you took?

1. Create a new application
2. Add bot to server
3. Connect bot, confirm can send messages
4. Enable rich presence
5. Reconnect bot

In my case, my bot is still able to send and react to messages.

You might want to check that your bot's token hasn't been reset. You could be using an outdated token, and therefore your bot isn't ever actually connecting.

The Bot is indeed connecting, and I can still send messages with the API, but as a response I get a permission missing answer.

I even get this after rejoining the bot to any of my servers and replacing the channel id.

base in the url is getting replaced with https://discordapp.com/api/

To clarify the steps: I had an older bot of mine (about 3 months) which was set up for Oauth (redirects, etc), and was used for that. I then about three days ago accidentally enabled rich presence, which somehow removed the bot from all servers it was authorized in (which i noticed about a day later), and from that on the bot didn't appear in the server once I reauthorized it.

I also checked that:

• the bot is not leaving the guilds
• the bot is not getting kicked

If your bot does not show up in the member list and cannot send messages to the channel, then it definitely doesn't have read messages permission in the channel.

It is not even in the server, after reauthorizing it with admin permissions.

And it doesn't show up in the member list in the server settings.

What is your bot's user id and the guild id in which the bot is supposed to be a member but is not?

Also, what I didn't mention before is that doing a request to https://discordapp.com/api/users/@me/guilds returns an empty json array.

That user id does not exist as a member within that guild id. You would need to go through the authorization flow to add the bot back into the guild: https://discordapp.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=311717140690370564&scope=bot

I did that, multiple times.

That problem seemed to be temporarily, it actually worked this time.
