Use the native installers install.sh or install.ps1 after reviewing them. The installers verify the downloaded archive against SHA256SUMS. Checksums detect mismatches; they do not replace verifying the download source.
For manual installation, download the matching archive and checksum manifest from this release, compare its SHA-256 hash, and extract the binaries to a directory on your PATH. GitHub's automatically generated Source code archives are for source builds.

Follow the installation and quick-start guide. The npm publish step for this release was skipped because publishing credentials were unavailable; use the native assets.
