Install the VSIX matching the extension host, then reload VS Code and connect Lodex to your model endpoint. The extension ID is djblu.lodex, with independent settings, connection profiles and chat storage.

Validation: all 76 automated tests pass. Native runtime builds passed streaming, file reads, approved and denied writes, compaction, permission changes and cancellation on all three platforms. Packaged archives are pinned by size and SHA-256. Required third-party notices are retained.
