My experience here is that these containerd APIs give us a pretty consistent 0.7s lookup (vs the ~0.4s lookup we got off the Hub-specific undocumented API we were using before), and as a benefit, this can now work for non-Hub registries too (and should still be faster than shelling out to
docker push
for every no-op).The biggest benefit of this change? This finally closes #8.
