installation of odbc extension fails

I'm trying to install odbc extension onphp:7.2-apache

I see a similar issue here: #103 but it seems to be an old issue?

Running the below does not seem to work:

The output of php -i | grep driver:
PDO drivers => sqlite, mysql, sqlsrv while it should be:
