✨ This release improves AI Assistant configuration and reliability, fixes OpenAPI dark mode, and significantly accelerates testing and build workflows.

Highlights

docmd v0.9.4 improves AI Assistant reliability and configuration, fixes OpenAPI dark mode rendering, and brings major performance improvements to the test and build pipelines.

OpenAPI

• Fixed OpenAPI operation containers, schema tables, parameters, and responses rendering with incorrect backgrounds in dark mode.
• Improved visual consistency between OpenAPI components and the surrounding documentation theme.

AI Assistant

• Fixed plugins.ai.assistant: false and plugins.ai.enabled: false so the Assistant widget and its assets are fully excluded when disabled.
• Upgraded to docmd-assistant v0.1.15, fixing false-positive tool stripping and preserving natural language responses across multi-turn conversations.

Test & Build Performance

• Parallelised integration test execution across CPU cores, reducing test runtime by around 65%.
• Improved deterministic build caching and excluded generated site/ and _site/ directories from snapshot hashing.
• Optimised pnpm prep, reducing runtime from around 4.7 minutes to 1.3 minutes.
• Standardised pnpm sim output with consistent status indicators.

Resolved Issues

• Fixed OpenAPI styles in dark mode (#207, PR #208 - @w666).
• Fixed AI Assistant disable configuration being ignored by the asset pipeline (#209).
