OpenAPI, LLMs & Internationalisation

Release v0.9.8 improves OpenAPI rendering, adds custom LLM instructions and section grouping, fixes link validation and MCP output, and brings Turkish translations into parity across both templates.

Added

  • Collapsible OpenAPI operations with table of contents navigation, clearer schema constraints, required-field indicators, array item details, and improved $ref resolution in request bodies. ([PR #255](#255), contributed by @w666, closes #254).
  • Custom LLM instructions through the plugins.llms.prompt configuration option, allowing project-specific guidance to be included in generated llms.txt files. Documentation links are now grouped under descriptive section headings.
  • Turkish UI translations across the default and Summer templates, alongside a new README.tr.md. Translation keys have been reconciled across all 10 supported languages. ([PR #258](#258), contributed by @KeuqS).

Improved

  • OpenAPI runtime reliability: Added js-yaml and markdown-it as direct dependencies of @docmd/plugin-openapi, avoiding reliance on transitive dependency resolution in standalone and containerised environments.
  • Link validation: Improved handling of Markdown links with optional titles, links inside fenced code blocks, root-relative /assets/ paths, and images with empty alt text. Validation now also respects config.exclude. ([PR #256](#256), contributed by @Aryan007-dev, addresses #250 and #251; additional validator fixes address #259).
  • Image captions: Captions now appear centred beneath figures with italic text and a content-sized layout, replacing the previous heavy background boxes. ([PR #253](#253), contributed by @w666, closes #252).

Fixed

  • MCP stdio compatibility: The docmd mcp command no longer prints decorative startup banners to stdout. This keeps JSON-RPC communication clean for clients such as Claude Desktop and Cursor. ([PR #260](#260), contributed by @vishalhabib99).

Security & Maintenance

  • Updated the npm dependency group and workspace dependencies.
  • Added dependency overrides for patched versions of katex and sharp.
  • Removed internal issue references from source comments.
