Have added a "Helper methods" section, its just an early draft. I will hopefully fill in some of the blanks this weekend while working on my CMS.

If you think this is the right place etc I will also add a reference for the Query Object Manager Factory. I have used the qomf() shortcut (phpcr/phpcr-utils#28).

Have added a "Helper methods" section, the idea is also to add another
section for the "Query Object Manager Factory"

Work in progress...

cool, thanks for writing up this documentation. i wonder a bit if this is the right place for the doc though - the QueryBuilder is a phpcr-utils feature. but then we don't have a real documentation place for phpcr-utils.

i guess the best would be for now to just adjust the link in the phpcr-utils readme https://github.com/phpcr/phpcr-utils#qom-querybuilder (btw, we reference some orm doc there currently - maybe we can make this documentation page follow the same style or point out the phpcr specific differences to the ORM builder and such)

and yes, i guess the factory could be explained here too - do we follow the same logic here as the orm does? or should we do some utility methods?

This is long dead :) There are already docs for the new ODM query builder (http://docs.doctrine-project.org/projects/doctrine-phpcr-odm/en/latest/reference/query-builder.html), and this documents the PHPCR query builder.
