Highlights

  • Add the standalone @dotdotgod/opencode V2 adapter: native plan saving, shared MCP, commands/skills, and advisory impact tracking.
  • Move Pi execution/retrieval to host-managed MCP, retaining its automatic project-memory lifecycle and removing forwarding aliases.
  • Persist advisory Pi/OpenCode impact revisions and expire context SQLite business data after a fixed 24 hours.
  • Use embeddings only when explicitly configured; otherwise retrieve by keywords without model downloads.
  • Fix TypeScript/TSX import-type grammar parsing without suppressing real syntax errors.
  • Add opt-in Claude Code project-local native plan storage and a pinned Codex native plan profile with docs/plan-only project writes.
  • Keep Hermes without native Plan Mode and preserve its existing permission/impact behavior.

Compatibility and migration

Although this is a patch release, tool names and retention behavior have changed:

  • Restart/reload agent sessions. Individual MCP tools are unprefixed: project_load, project_impact, project_initialize, impact_status, embedding_status, and embedding_install. Hosts qualify them with their server namespace. Old names are not aliases.
  • Pi's pending-only automatic Load remains project_memory_load. Generic execution and retrieval use MCP envelopes; inspect isError and structuredContent.
  • ttlMs is removed and rejected. Context sources/chunks, ingestion job data and pending impact expire 24 hours after storage; reads and restarts do not renew them. Expiry is not impact approval. Original files, CLI caches, JSON hook state, backups and schema metadata are outside this retention policy.
  • Configure embedding explicitly in project or global config for vectors. Unconfigured search uses keywords; vector-only requests require configuration. Selecting a remote profile authorizes documentation/code metadata and comments; the separate --allow-code-embedding flag is removed.
  • Reindex consumer projects to refresh TS/TSX outlines. Real syntax errors still produce partial status.

Native planning

  • Claude Code: preview dotdotgod init . --claude-plans --dry-run, then opt into writes. Existing project settings are preserved. Native filenames remain host-owned; no Mods are needed.
  • Codex: use the plugin's scripts/setup-plan.mjs dry-run and --confirm flow with Codex 0.163.0. Launch the reported named profile and enter /plan. The project is read-only except docs/plan/; leaving Plan Mode does not expand permissions. MCP and hooks have separate execution boundaries.

Verification

  • Full isolated-HOME workspace verification: 445 tests, plus resource/type/syntax/generated checks.
  • Documentation, traceability, index and all seven package dry-runs passed.
  • Extracted-package host smoke: Claude Code 2.1.308, Codex 0.163.0, OpenCode 2.1.2 using loopback scripted model responses, without paid inference.
  • Equivalent nineteen-file TS/TSX fixture parses without partials; original consumer project files were unavailable.
  • Hermes unit/resource tests passed; pinned Hermes host smoke was not rerun for this release.

The assets are the exact verified npm tarballs. MANIFEST.json records their SHA-256 digests.
