Same issues on a project myself

I am having the exact same issue this user is having in a project myself was the main issue ever identified
@FilipRazvan thanks for the additional details.

If a plain ng serve --port 44449 fails to launch the project I'm out of ideas on what it might be going wrong. I would suggest you file an issue in the angular repo as they might be able to assist you in this area much better than we will be able to, since this seems a node issue on the machine/environment
