EarTrumpet v2.3.0 — Device Visibility Management

This release introduces the Hide Devices feature to EarTrumpet, allowing you to hide unused or inactive audio playback endpoints directly from the flyout and manage them easily in Settings.

🌟 What's New

  • Hide Devices Directly from Flyout:

    • Hover over any audio device title in the flyout volume mixer to reveal the new hide button.
    • Clicking hide collapses and hides the device from the active flyout list.
  • Dedicated "Devices" Settings Page:

    • Navigate to EarTrumpet Settings > Devices to see all detected audio playback endpoints and their status (Hidden vs active).
    • Easily toggle visibility for any device with the Hide / Unhide button.
    • Quick Unhide all devices button to restore all hidden endpoints at once.
  • Persistent Configuration:

    • Hidden device configurations are stored in application settings and persist across restarts.
    • Hiding a device inside EarTrumpet only affects EarTrumpet's mixer UI; it does not disable or modify the device in Windows Sound settings.

📦 Included Assets

  • EarTrumpet.exe: The standalone executable.
  • EarTrumpet-v2.3.0.zip: Complete portable bundle containing EarTrumpet.exe along with all required runtime dependencies and configs.
