  • The baseline coverage map now skips gem files even when gems are installed
under the project root (e.g. bundle config set --local path vendor/bundle
on CI). It checks every Gem.path entry and Bundler.bundle_path. Before,
every loaded gem file was recorded per example, which on a large suite
pushed the baseline past the runner's memory and got the job killed (#49).
  • --allow-empty now forgives an empty --since plan when the only changes
in the candidate files are comments or blank lines, added or deleted. It
compares the Ruby tokens at the ref against the working copy with comments
dropped, so a # line inside a heredoc still counts as code. Magic
comments (# frozen_string_literal: true) and files that fail to parse
also count as code. A deletion-only code edit still exits 1 (#49).
