RTerm v3.9.3
RTerm v3.9.3 — AI-Native Terminal App by Hyperspace Technologies
v3.9.3 (2026-09-24)
Fix: synapse-bridge default dispatch timeout 600s → 180s (the edge
invoke floor) — and the tool schema no longer lies to the model.
A real LLM-backed agent turn over the mesh takes 60s+ (live-measured:
grip-cli-001 → reactorpro/rterm-01 invoke RTT 1m54s; a tool-call-only
turn 25s). Two problems surfaced in the same session:
- The 600s default held the reply slot open far past every caller's own
budget — callers timed out while RTerm was still legitimately working. - The
synapse_dispatchtool schema told the model "default 30000" while
the code used 600000. A model passing no timeout expected 30s, waited,
and reported a hang that wasn't one.
The new 180s default matches reactorpro-bridge and the documented 3-minute
edge invoke floor. Settings synapse.dispatchTimeout still overrides.
Same session, cross-agent federation proven live: grip-cli-001's agent
dispatched a signed envelope over NATS; RTerm's invoke skill ran a real
agent turn which called the neuralos_ask tool directly (chinook,
$2,328.60, conf 0.88) — plugin tools now work in mesh turns on the
daemon (the installed neuralos@3.8.9 predated the neuralos plugin;
upgrading to 3.9.2+ wires 78 tools from 16 plugins, +4 neuralos).
The host-managed rterm-synapse-bridge.mjs CLI dispatch was raised 30s →
180s (with DISPATCH_TIMEOUT_MS override) in the same session; that file
is host-managed and not part of this repo.
Spec: synapse-bridge default assertion updated; 6/6 synapse + 52/52
reactorpro green; full Test workflow green (typecheck, lint, units,
build smoke).
