- mail: the AI assistant works with the subscriptions you already have.
Summarise and Draft reply can go through your own logged-in Claude
Code, Codex or Gemini CLI (run headless, with no tools, hooks or session
file), through an API key for Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter or DeepSeek
(kept in your keychain, never shown again), or through a local model
server as before. Automatic, the default, uses the first of claude,
codex, gemini and a local server this computer has, so with Claude Code
installed turning AI on is the only step. Settings show which provider
answers and where the mail text goes; it is sent only when you click an
AI action, and the thread reaches the model fenced as data it must not
follow. - app: New project from a template — the dialog. From a template… in
New project's footer or ⌘K: pick a saved template or look one up
(owner/name, its link, or a folder), name the project, paste or drop
the brief, and the box under it says what Create will run and send
(the name and visibility, to GitHub, through your owngh; nothing
without it). Progress shows in the footer; Esc hides it and the agent
still starts in its own tab when the project is ready. A failed clone
offers Try the clone again and Open on GitHub. Settings → Project
templates edits and removes them. In the app a dropped.mdor.txt
becomes the brief (read_dropped_text, only from the latest drop). - projects: start a project from a template — the daemon side. Add your own template (a GitHub template repository,
a folder, or both) with where its brief goes and the agent's first
prompt; Caprock reads itsTEMPLATE.mdto fill those in. Making a
project from it runs your ownghon your click (gh repo create --template, thengh repo clone), or copies the folder's last commit
into a new repository when you pick the local copy, then writes your
brief and commits it — never pushed. A failure takes away only the
folder Caprock made and never deletes a repository on GitHub; Retry
picks up where it stopped (ADR-065). - pipeline: every figure on the Pipeline page — and the five on Home —
shows its last 14 days as a small line, with today set against them
underneath: usual, above usual +38%, below usual −30%. In flight,
throughput, the CI median, opened → merged, merged → released and the
agent cost each get one; green where today is the better side (a shorter
CI run or merge, more merges), amber the worse, muted for the open count
and the cost. Running totals compare today so far with earlier days at
the same hour; a day with nothing to measure is a gap, not a zero; with
fewer than three earlier days of data it says not enough history.
Hover a day for its value, or the word for what it is compared with.
Counted from what the Pipeline already reads: no new GitHub request.
Changed
- app: the Pipeline has its own tab again, pinned with the system tabs
right after the Dashboard tab and before Mail, drawn like them: its glyph
and ⌘P (Ctrl⇧P on Windows and Linux), its × while it is in front. ⌘P,
Pipeline at the foot of the sidebar and Open Pipeline in the palette
bring it to the front, and again go back to where you were; ⇧⌘B still
works and ⌘B stays the Pipeline bar. It stays in the Dashboard too:
Pipeline in its menu and Open Pipeline → on Home take you to that
tab, so the page is drawn once and, behind other tabs, reads nothing. The
tab is kept across restarts.
