Resume Tailor v1.0.0
First public release of Resume Tailor — a local desktop app for tailoring resumes to job descriptions, with no cloud dependency.
Highlights
- Tailored resume generation with three stretch levels — Conservative (yellow), Balanced (green), Aggressive (red).
- Application tracking for each job description, with a full version chain per resume.
- Regenerate (pick stretch) modal lets you spawn a new version from any prior one with a chosen stretch level.
- Version chain pruning — older versions show a Delete link; the latest and immediate previous are protected.
- Refine flow for iterative edits, with diff view between any two versions.
- JD scoring + rubric cache so repeated runs against the same job description are fast.
- Lossless corpus pipeline preserves your original resume content across regenerations.
- OCR support (Tesseract) for scanned PDF resumes.
- Help → About dialog shows the installed version.
- PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 license.

First-launch security warning
Resume Tailor is not signed with an Apple Developer ID or Microsoft Authenticode certificate. Together those cost roughly $400/year — Resume Tailor is free, so we don't carry them. Each OS shows a one-time security warning; bypass it once and the app launches normally forever after.
macOS: Drag the app to /Applications. Double-click → click Done on the warning → open System Settings → Privacy & Security → click Open Anyway at the bottom → confirm.
Windows: Run the installer. On the blue "Windows protected your PC" SmartScreen dialog, click More info → Run anyway.
