Resume Tailor v1.3.1
v1.3.1 — Years scoring + title hierarchy
Two scoring fixes that came up after v1.3.0 shipped the comprehensive profile builder.
Years of experience: now reads three signals
The scorer used to look only at date ranges in the tailored résumé. If the writer included only your most recent 3-5 tenures, you'd get scored on ~6-12 years even if your career spans 30+. v1.3.1 now takes max(résumé date ranges, "N+ years" header claim, corpus date ranges). The corpus is the most authoritative since the v1.3 comprehensive profile contains every tenure you've ever held.
Title hierarchy: no more "overqualified" penalty
The analysis prompt now explicitly treats higher titles as MEETING lower-title requirements:
- "Manager" / "Director" / "VP" / "Head of X" requirements are met by ANY equal-or-higher title (Director, VP, SVP, EVP, C-suite, President, Founder)
- Same logic that already applied to degrees (Bachelor's met by Master's/PhD) now applies to titles
- The AI is explicitly told NOT to flag higher titles as a gap for the JD's lower target
Rubric cache invalidation
Cache key bumped to :v3 so v1.3.0 cached rubrics (without title-hierarchy treatment) don't bleed into v1.3.1 scoring. First generation against any given JD will re-extract the rubric once with the new prompt.
Action recommended after upgrade
Re-generate any résumé where you saw a low years-of-experience score. The new scorer should bring it up significantly if your career spans more years than the writer included in the Experience section. Same for any role where you saw "Director of X" or similar flagged as a gap despite being more senior.
