Android 0.10.0: Bloodframe
Android port of Bloodborne (v1.09) for Snapdragon phones (Adreno 6xx/7xx/8xx). Mali GPUs are not supported (the Mali driver is there for testing only).
Bloodframe
Bloodframe is this port's frame generation engine, now with its own entry in the side menu. It runs Lossless Scaling's frame generation (LSFG 3.1) with the shaders from your own Lossless.dll and adds generated frames between the game's own, for smoother motion. It is based on lsfg-vk 1.0 (MIT) and is open source: ducvd89/bloodframe.
- Half precision (FP16): Lossless Scaling's half-precision shaders, read from your
Lossless.dll, run faster on phones. If the GPU or driver can't run them, Bloodframe falls back to full precision by itself. - Fixes the frame generation ghosting on Adreno 8xx. On the Oppo Find N5 (Adreno 830), many generated frames used to show the picture doubled and shifted. With Bloodframe and FP16 this is gone.
- Recommended settings (the defaults): 2×, performance mode on, FP16 on. Frame generation works best when the game already runs at 30 FPS or more.
Menu → Bloodframe. Changes apply at once, while you play.
Install / update
Menu → Check for updates, or install the APK by hand over any 0.8.x/0.9.x; settings, saves, mods and the game folder are kept. Frame generation still needs Lossless.dll from your own copy of Lossless Scaling (the Bloodframe page can download it through Steam). No game files or Lossless Scaling files are included.
