Capybara Toolbox 1.0.0

Choose a tag to compare

@dvwinck dvwinck released this 24 Oct 20:12

This is the first tagged release of Capybara Toolbox: five Claude Code plugins in one marketplace. Every plugin is tested in CI (1,031 tests on Ubuntu and macOS with Python 3.9, 3.11, 3.13, and 3.14), has an English and a Portuguese README, and is MIT licensed.

New here? Start with ar-board: see how a round works on the website or read the write-up.

Plugin Version What it does
ar-board 1.4.0 Local approve/reject board for agent proposals, with custom labels, a confirm step for risky cards, and an offline mode; plus question-board for several questions on one screen
publish-check 0.1.1 Read-only scan of the working tree and full history (including commit messages and author fields) for session links, home paths, email addresses, and your internal names; not a secret scanner, so pair it with gitleaks
tidy-board 0.2.0 Stale branches, worktrees, and stashes as cards that show how sure the tool is that each is merged; deleted only on approval, rechecked at deletion time, and backed up first when the work exists nowhere else
housekeeping 0.4.0 doc-truth checks that your docs cite real paths, links, and versions; handoff writes a verified end-of-session note; todo-sweep triages TODO and FIXME comments on a board. None of them edits your tracked files; handoff and todo-sweep write only to .handoff/ and .todo-sweep/, which you should keep out of git
header-footer 0.4.0 Hook-computed header line that Claude copies to the top of each reply, plus a configurable status line (turning it on edits your Claude settings.json after making a timestamped backup)

Install

/plugin marketplace add dvwinck/capybara-toolbox
/plugin install <plugin>@capybara-toolbox

Replace <plugin> with any name from the table, then restart Claude Code. For header-footer, the status line (which the plugin calls the footer) needs one more step, because a plugin cannot set it: ask Claude to turn on the footer.

Requirements

Python 3.9 or later, standard library only. git is required by publish-check, tidy-board, and housekeeping, and by header-footer for its branch and repository fields. Optional: gh, which lets tidy-board confirm merged pull requests, and node, which header-footer needs for its gsd field.

Languages

Everything the tools show you (panels, cards, reports, handoff notes, and CLI messages) is in English by default. Pass --lang pt-BR or set CAPYBARA_LANG=pt-BR for Portuguese, and the ar-board panel has an EN/PT toggle in its header. publish-check prints English only. Every plugin has an English and a Portuguese README.

Known limitations

Windows is not tested yet.

Versioning

Each plugin keeps its own semantic version and changelog (plugins/<name>/CHANGELOG.md). ar-board is at 1.x; the other plugins are 0.x and may still change between minor versions. The toolbox tag marks a snapshot of the marketplace and carries no compatibility promise of its own.
