Electric Strike Lock #17
Comments
I’m super interested in pairing on this (as in, I want to learn how it works and test them when they arrive) but only one of us should own this (and it should be you, because you know what you’re talking about here). Let’s totally order these today though. The first one says it’s suitable for a small glass door? |
@iteles we have 17 e-access doors as outlined in #1 The most affordable supplier on ebay appears to only have 4 units in stock: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-Normal-Close-Electric-Strike-Door-Strike-Lock-Security-Access-6-NC-Mode/163156540525 my question is: should we order all units from the same supplier to simplify installation, |
In the long run, we will save more money by ordering them all to be exactly the same 👍 |
Ordered electric strikes. 📦 ✅ |
@nelsonic 🎉 |
The Electric Strikes ordered from China arrived and have already been used as a reference by the carpenter and electricians; they finally "understand" how the system will work and are working with me instead of displaying Meanwhile this supplier in Ireland appears to have a much better product description: The dimensions are almost identical (2mm wider) and the anti-backlash diode is a good plan. |

@iteles thinking of ordering samples in the next couple of days so that we can test them.
Are you interested in pairing on this, or should I just proceed and "own" this?
