@nelsonic Exactly. Will confirm door frame numbers tonight and email to carpenter. Doors themselves are separate to this but all bathroom doors are white and all other doors are wood-coloured 👍 Fenólicos (phenolic) doors come from Carlos and will be a separate issue. |
We agreed all skirting boards would be made anew. Door frames will all be white with the ones for existing doors to be painted white (with brand new 'batentes' so that the doors don't slam and calhas on the outside where they were ripped off the walls) and new ones to be in MDF lacado. |
As soon as the flooring is in, skirting boards and door frames can go in (technically, door frames could go in first but there's a better finish if the floor is already in).
Questions/Notes
Colours
With the wood-colour laminate flooring, I think wood on wood for the whole house might be too intense and certainly wouldn't work out in terms of the grey-tiled basement (for humidity purposes).
Our walls will be white but I'm proposing white door-frames and skirting boards in lacquered MDF, with wooden doors and floors for a similar colour effect to this:
