Embody externalizes TouchDesigner COMPs and DATs to diffable files and restores them on open. Envoy is the MCP server inside it that lets an AI assistant build, wire and inspect live networks. Convoy is set up once per computer, and a computer stays in the Convoy.

  • Machines stay on. Open one project once and the computer stays reachable at every login, with or without TouchDesigner open. Stop Convoy App takes it out.
  • A version-up is the same node. Every save of a .toe keeps its address, TD Python approval and queued work until the file is deleted.
  • Convoy Machines replaces Convoy Nodes. One row per computer: Hostname / IP, its open .toe files, Online / 5s ago. convoy_list_nodes gains machines.
  • Projects join by themselves on a joined machine, registering without turning anything else on. Turn Enable Convoy off to keep one out.
  • Fixes. Remote restart works again with save_then_restart; it was refusing every restart on TouchDesigner 2025. A node starts after a reboot even when Windows reused its old process id. Projects in one repo no longer delete each other's rows. +115 tests.
