Highlighted Features

• Upgraded Dynamsoft Capture Vision to 3.6.3200 (dynamsoft-capture-vision-data 1.2.2), with improved iOS browser compatibility, including a fix for video distortion when switching cameras in Edge on iPhone.

Fixes & Improvements

• returnOriginalImage: false now withholds the original image; the option was previously ignored. It still defaults to true.
• The scanner opens the main rear camera on multi-lens phones, for a sharper preview. This also fixes starting on the front camera on devices such as Microsoft Surface.
• Double-sided documents flipped quickly now capture the opposite-side portrait.
• launch() always resolves to an MRZResult, including when Close is tapped at the flip prompt, a static image fails to load, or the container is not found.
• toolbarButtonsConfig isHidden now applies to the flash and camera switch buttons.
• The UI customization types (ThemeConfig, MessagesConfig, FormatSelectorConfig, ToolbarButtonsConfig) are now exported, and all ToolbarButtonConfig properties are optional.
• Repeated launches no longer leave behind orientation listeners or, after cancelling Load Image, hidden file inputs.
