2.9.0
Library, Gradle plugin and desktop app. dari, dari-core, dari-noop, dari-runtime, dari-inspector-protocol and dari-gradle-plugin 2.9.0 are on Maven Central. The desktop app has no changes since 2.8.2 and ships under the same number.
What's Changed
- feat: opt-in plugin instrumentation for non-debuggable build types by @easyhooon in #252
- New
dari { nonDebuggableBuildTypes.add("staging") }instruments the listed build types even when they are not debuggable (for example a minified staging build). Default is empty, so only debuggable variants are instrumented, as before. - Pair it with the existing
ALLOW_NON_DEBUGGABLEmeta-data so the desktop app can connect. Release builds stay ondari-noopwith no hooks.
- New
- fix: complete only the open entry for a reused requestId by @easyhooon in #250
- Bridges that reuse an id (for example a callback name) no longer have every earlier entry rewritten with the latest response. A response completes the latest open entry, and a late or duplicate response no longer rewrites a completed call.
- fix: pair responses only with requests of the same direction by @easyhooon in #237
- A Web→App request and an App→Web request with the same requestId and tag no longer complete each other.
MessageRepository.updateEntrygets an overload that takes the direction; the old one stays for binary compatibility.
- A Web→App request and an App→Web request with the same requestId and tag no longer complete each other.
- Docs: the Gradle plugin rules page explains when the mapping check runs, how to run it alone and how to turn it off (#235).
