Would be great to have pattern matching and highlighting and auto-insert from * in the editor drop-down also  @[pbodnar](https://github.com/issues?q=is%3Apr+is%3Aopen+author%3Apbodnar) maybe something for you too? It might be possible to reuse your work for open resource.
