What's New?

• WxData 3.0 introduces a robust command-line interface (CLI) tool that brings WxData into the shell. You can now use the WxData clients inside shell and powershell scripts to create advanced ETL pipelines for various types of weather data. The new WxData-Shell repository has many examples from beginner to advanced. The most advanced being parallel downloads of weather model data from multiple source servers -> subset data -> decode GRIB2 keys into plain-language -> convert from GRIB2 to NETCDF -> export as a NETCDF (.nc) file -> executes a Python script that performs analysis and visualizes the data.

Improvements

• Massive performance improvements to all ECMWF data clients. Removed ecmwf-opendata as a package dependency and built a native JSON parser for ECMWF index files to perform smart downloads (byte-range requests) of ECMWF data.

Bug Fixes

• Updated pixel_query() and line_query() to reflect the depreciation of metpy.parse_cf().
