OTel metrics QuickStart #3374
Description
In #3360, we've added a link from the TSDS quickstart to the OTel quickstart as a suggested easier way to get started with ingesting data into a TSDS.
It would be great to either have a dedicated quickstart for custom metrics or adjust the quickstart that's currently not very metrics focussed.
A potential challenge is how to do this in a way that doesn't make the OTel quickstart feel more heavyweight that it is right now (I'm thinking of the 3x3 matrix for the deployment model, the OTel operator, etc), so that it actually feels like an easier getting started experience compared to the TSDS quickstart.
