get errormessages for some funktions

Hi,
I am running the MCP server as a Docker container so that I can access the MCP container remotely via HTTP/SSE. When I try to access the MCP server via an AI agent, in my case via n8n, some queries result in an error.

• list_indices works
• get_shards works
• get_mapping returns the following error message
  "Failed to execute tool ‘get_mappings’
  MCP error -32603: error decoding response body"
• esql works
• search: the agent encounters a problem
  Received tool input did not match expected schema

What do the error numbers mean and how can I fix this? I would be grateful for any help.

I'm having the same issue. Some things I can add:

1. get_mappings is also failing when using inspector

2. search tool works with the community node : https://github.com/nerding-io/n8n-nodes-mcp

3. search tool requires query_body but still works if you sent it empty

4. You can also send no index name and it works

The thing with 3 and 4 is inspector works but n8n will honor the validation and fail. I think is useful to fallback to match_all if no query body is sent, same with index name.

This issues hasn't been resolved in a while, how can we disable the tools that don't work when using Docker?
